On Oct 11th 2012, after several a week on the road , we returned to Rock Island, IL to track a few intimate versions of songs off of our LOVEWEAPONS album. The Previous night we played the Lincoln Calling Festival in Lincoln, NE and drove through the night to make our noon load in. When we arrived, we were surprised to find our old friends Murder By Death already in Session, Stomping away and drinking Whiskey. Their high energy was a much need boost for us, after our 2 hours of sleep and 9 hour drive, but we didn’t have any of the whiskey. The session we tracked was one of the first out of Rock Island to stream live on the Internet, a now regular and amazing feature on Daytrotters Website. Its always a pleasure to work with Sean, Mike, and the Daytrotter crew, we look forward to many more visits in the future.
